NetSuite OAuth1 Deprecation

If you currently have integrations connecting to NetSuite using OAuth1, NetSuite is deprecating that functionality as part of the 2027.1 release. While existing integrations utilizing OAuth1 will continue to work pending a future date release, no new OAuth1 tokens can be generated with that release.

How does this impact users? – Any sandbox refresh requires new OAuth1 tokens to be generated. A sandbox refresh occurring within the 2027.1 release will be unable to connect via OAuth1.

What can I do? – Update existing integrations to use OAuth1 prior to a sandbox refresh. For those users using an IPaaS service such as Boomi or Workato, consider moving to the REST API if not already using it. SOAP is also scheduled to be deprecated and moving to REST and updating to OAuth2 will resolve both. For those already using REST, ensure your connections are using OAuth2.
